Outreach Volunteers Needed

Do yo have a heart for newly diagnosed families and wish to help them during that difficult time? We are looking to train additional JDRF T1D Connections Program Outreach Volunteers throughout Georgia. As an Outreach Volunteer, you will be playing a leading role in building relationships with newly diagnosed families/individuals- welcoming, supporting, guiding, and connecting them to the larger T1D community and JDRF. In this role, the volunteer is a supporter, educator, and connector as well as a steward of what will hopefully become a dedicated relationship between the newly diagnosed and JDRF. We especially need volunteers in Rome, Athens, Columbus, Macon, Valdosta, Augusta, as well as the suburbs of Atlanta such as Fayetteville, Cumming, Douglasville, and Lawrenceville! We’re hoping to recruit 100 volunteers to build a robust Outreach program throughout the State of Georgia. Please contact Teresa Acosta for more information.
