Last month St. Louis, St. Charles & Southern Illinois celebrated our fundraising together at the One Walk hosted by Millipore Sigma. Thousands showed up to support their loved ones living with T1D. Collectively, individuals, family teams and corporate donors raised nearly $600,000!

We are so grateful for our sponsors, Edward Jones, Jay Wolfe Toyota of West County, Keeley Co., Nike Air Inc, LTS Auto and Ozarks Federal Savings &  Loan. Congratulations to our top team Addie’s Army who raised $12,756 and Walkin’ with Wilbur, a new family team, who raised $10,760! Thank you so much to everyone who donated, supported, and volunteered to make this campaign a success!

In order to streamline our resources and come together as one community, the JDRF One Walk in 2020 will be at a new location, which has yet to be determined. The walk team is working closely with volunteers and board members to select the best place for us to grow this event moving forward. We have heard that safety, parking and proximity to family-friendly activities are important factors to you. Ultimately, you, our walk participants will be able to vote on our top 2-3 choices that meet our budget and size requirements.

Thank you so much for supporting JDRF through the One Walk! You can count on us to be your champions, fighting for a world without T1D. We will find a cure for this disease and in the meantime, we are here to support you and pursue advancements in treatment and prevention.
