The JDRF Hope Gala is going virtual this year! While we can’t gather in person, we are still excited to come together virtually for an evening of inspiration and a weekend of all your Gala favorites including a silent auction, raffle and Fund A Cure!

Everyone is invited to join us May 21^st – 24^th for your chance to bid on some fantastic packages, enter an exclusive raffle, and support a future where type one is type none.

Silent Auction & Raffle:

The silent auction is always one of the most fun parts of the Hope Gala and this year is no different. You’ll be able to easily bid on items straight from your phone or computer all weekend! There are so many exciting items including delicious wines, signed sports memorabilia, unique adventures, and an exclusive section this year – the T1D Timeline

This year is JDRF’s 50^th anniversary. As we look back on the progress that’s been made for those living with T1D we never lose sight of the people we do this for. Everyone living with T1D daily is a champion and inspiration. In the T1D Timeline you will find stories of individuals living with T1D for the past 50 years, from 50 years to recently diagnosed, and basket donated in their honor that reflects a piece of their personality. Not only is there a silent auction full of amazing items, but there is also a limited sale raffle. You don’t want to miss your chance to purchase 1 of only 100 raffle tickets available!

 

Fund A Cure: 

Fund A Cure is an opportunity to make an impact on the lives of people living with T1D and their loved ones through a 100% tax-deductible donation, which will accelerate life-changing research. Fund A Cure donations will be invested in JDRF’s effective and focused research agenda aimed to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives until there is a cure. Your generous support is more critical than ever and puts us one step closer to creating a world without type 1 diabetes.

 

Host a “Table”:

Even though we can’t gather in person, there are so many ways to still be together and have a night of fun hosting your own virtual cocktail party.

Hosting a “table” is as easy as gathering your friends together for a virtual call. It’s your chance to not only have fun, but share why JDRF is important to you, encourage a little bidding and inspire your guests to support JDRF’s mission through a Fund A Cure gift.

You can even make it truly feel like the Hope Gala with a little creativity such as:

• Encouraging your guest to get dressed up (or down!). You can go all out with full Gala attire, wear JDRF blue or even find something sparkly to honor JDRF’s golden anniversary
• Finding a signature drink everyone can experiment with
• Schedule a delivery of tasty treats to your guests before your virtual cocktail party starts
