IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT KIDZ KAVE

Kidz Kave, ages 5-12, kids with and without type 1 diabetes (T1D) can join in and connect with other T1D kids and participate in fun activities from 9:30 am to 3:50 pm (closed for lunch 1 pm to 1:50 pm).

NOTE: A snack of Crystal Light and sliced apples will be provided at 11:30 am. Staff and Kidz Kave volunteers are not able to administer insulin during snack time or any food your child might need. If your child needs insulin, a parent must be present to administer.

Kidz Kave volunteers can assist your child in performing a finger stick if your child is able to do this task. Volunteers will write down the number and have the information ready for you to dose your child. Parents are responsible for any insulin needs of their children.
