Douglas Melton, PhD, Xander University Professor, Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology, Faculty of Arts and Sciences and Harvard Medical School shared his revolutionary work to convert human stem cells into insulin-producing beta cells. The energy and enthusiasm in the room was palpable leaving guests with a renewed sense of hope and excitement about the possibilities for the T1D community.
