Are you looking for a way to help newly diagnosed families and adults? We have the place for you! The JDRF T1D Connections Program matches newly diagnosed individuals and families with JDRF Outreach Volunteers who are the voices of experience and hope for those facing the challenge of learning to manage their new life with T1D. The JDRF Michigan Great Lakes West is seeking individuals who have a direct T1D connection for more than a year and have a passion for bringing people together to become a part of our T1D community and JDRF family. Being a JDRF Outreach Volunteer offers you the opportunity to be there for someone with the promise that no one is in this alone, impart information that you may wish you had, and share exciting information about JDRF research advancements. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a T1D Connections Program volunteer please contact Erica Farr by email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our next training is coming up on June 19th from 6:30pm – 8:30pm at the JDRF Office. This is a requirement for Outreach Volunteers and is a fun way to meet others and learn how you can help newly diagnosed individuals and families!
