JDRF One Walk Ambassador Program

in ,

JDRF One Walk Ambassadors are children, teens and adults living with Type 1 diabetes (T1D) who are recognized for their commitment to helping fund T1D research through active participation in the JDRF One Walk program.

In order to be recognized, Walk Ambassadors must be registered for Walk and have raised at least $250 (either individual or team total) by the extended deadline of Friday, October 13th OR have scheduled a Kids Walk to Cure Diabetes for the 2017-2018 school year by Friday, October 13th.

Walk Ambassadors will be celebrated in the following ways:

Individualā€™s photo will be featured on their own JDRF One Walk Ambassador sign displayed along the route
Recognition as Walk Ambassador on JDRF Houstonā€™s website
Opportunity to assist with community events and Walk kick-offs
Once the $250 fundraising minimum has been reached (or the Kids Walk is confirmed with the school) please email a high resolution picture to WalkAmbassadorSign@jdrf.org no later than Friday, October 13th. Please be sure to include first and last name of individual featured in photo, date of diagnosis, your team name and which Walk (Houston or The Woodlands) you are participating in.
