EVENT DAY SCHEDULE
The theme for this year’s One Walk(s) will be Super Heroes Unite!– In honor of all of our everyday T1D heroes.
Registration begins at 7:30am at NRG Park (Green Lot)
The Walk will take place rain or shine.

8:40AM Opening Ceremony
9:00AM WALK BEGINS!
11:00AM Costume Contest sponsored by Randall’s
11:15AM Beach Ball Party sponsored by Apache

YLC AND INSULIN FOR LIFE SUPPLY DRIVE
The JDRF Young Leadership Committee (YLC) will be collecting supplies at the walk for Insulin For Life. Insulin For Life collects in-date & unneeded insulin, test strips, as well as other diabetes supplies, and ships them to areas that have been hurt by disaster or to developing countries in need. They are then distributed, free of charge, to children and adults with diabetes who otherwise would go without these lifesaving medications. Insulin For Life was an influential part of our recovery after Harvey. Click here for a list of acceptable supplies.

CHECK-IN INFORMATION
The registration tent will open at 7:30am.
V1P’S
V1P’s should check in at the registraton tent in the V1P check in line to receive V1P badge and special walk day gift.
NEW FAMILIES
If this is your first time walking with JDRF, please be sure to stop by our tent dedicated to new families on Walk Day. Not only will you be able to meet other local families new to the JDRF and the T1D community, we have an exclusive JDRF drawstring backpack as a special welcome gift. After you check in, just look for the tent with a “Welcome New Families” banner, or ask a staff member for guidance.
FOOD, FUN & ENTERTAINMENT
A fun, family friendly day for children, teens, and adults of all ages. There are many activities on site, entertainment, as well as free food and beverages available prior to and after the Walk. Leashed dogs are welcomed. Kids Zone carnival activities, inflatables, rock climbing wall, petting zoo, crazy hair, temporary tattoos, face painting, vendors, balloon artist, Welcome New Families Tent, etc. Be sure to stick around after the walk for our costume contest sponsored by Randall’s and Beach Ball party sponsored by Apache Corporation.

Complimentary parking available in the Yellow Lot (entrance on Main Street)
