Culver’s and JDRF Partner for a Mini Mix Up

Culver's Facebook BannerFamilies from the local T1D community will be leading “The Family Mini Mix Up” at Culver’s Chicagoland locations on Thursday, February 16!

A local child living with type 1 diabetes (T1D), along with family and friends, will spearhead the event by serving food to guests who dine inside the restaurant as well as those ordering at the drive thru from 4-8pm.

In addition to collecting donations from guests that evening, Culver’s will offer specially priced $2 Mini Concrete Mixers all day on February 16, with $1 of each Mixer sold benefitting JDRF!

Culver’s has partnered with JDRF Illinois since mid-January as guests who have dined at more than 30 Chicago-area Culver’s have donated their spare change to T1D research.

“We’re grateful to the entire Culver’s team for all of their support and encourage the community to dine with us on February 16,” said JDRF Illinois Executive Director, Mimi Crabtree. “Living with type 1 diabetes is difficult and even life threatening. Those affected serve as an inspiration by facing the disease’s challenges with courage and perseverance, and they don’t let it stand in the way of achieving their goals.”
