More Info

Jessica Christensen has worked tirelessly to fundraise, advocate, and educate on behalf of T1D families everywhere since Valentine’s Day 2013 when her then four year old son, Jack, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D). Jessica, who has served as a JDRF Research Information Volunteer and has mentored newly diagnosed families, will provide an update on JDRF’s current research portfolio and core therapeutic areas.

Following Jessica’s presentation, there will be a panel discussion around managing life with T1D. The panel will include members of the PDRC team.

After the presentation, stick around for additional Q&A, and the opportunity to connect with others in the Central Illinois T1D community!

PDRC staff will offer a kids activity room for kids five and older during the research update presentation.

Free parking available in the North Deck or complimentary valet available at the Children’s Hospital circle drive entrance.
