YLC Bar Olympics
February 9, 2019, Indianapolis, IN
12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
$100 per team
Bar Olympics is an annual fundraiser hosted by the YLC. Participants hop between venues in Broad Ripple Village and must complete one game at each bar. Challenges include corn hole, flippy cup, giant Jenga, beer pong and shuffleboard. Gather your team of four and compete for gold!
Games include Jenga, Cornhole, Trivia, Flippy Cup, Beer Pong, etc. Games begin sharply at noon and each team will head to a bar in Broad Ripple (all bars are walking distance) and begin their first game. Teams will rotate through their bar/game schedule until 4 pm. Teams will then gather at Landsharks for scoring and prizes.
All proceeds donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). www.jdrf.org
How do I ensure a great Bar Olympics experience?
Come ready for a day of fun! A little upfront planning goes a long way: Teams are encouraged to create team names and costumes/team shirts are a great way to show your spirit. Plan rides and meals accordingly for a bar crawl type event. All bars have food service available. Arrive on time, check-in begins at 11 am, to maximize game time. Bring cash to purchase raffle tickets, koozies, extra points, cheats, etc. Remember all the proceeds go to JDRF!
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes! All participants must be at least 21 years of age. Identification will be checked at each bar upon entry.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Uber and Lyft are highly suggested for this event. Street parking in Broad Ripple is available through metered parking on Saturdays.
