Please join us for the 24th Annual JDRF Kansas City Dream Gala on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown, as we come together to change the lives of every adult, child, and family facing the daily challenges of type 1 diabetes (T1D) in our community.  T1D strikes millions of children and adults every day, without warning. Unrelated to diet or lifestyle, T1D creates a lifelong dependence on insulin injections or infusions and carries the constant worry of long-term complications including blindness, kidney disease, and stroke. There is no remission, no days off, and currently– no cure. But there is hope.

We know that a cure is possible, and we know that JDRF is the answer.  JDRF funds incredible research to help make management of T1D less of a burden, keep those living with the disease healthy, and ensure future generations never know it.  Our goal is to turn Type One into Type None, but we can’t do it alone.
