Ways to Give
Fund A Cure
Fund A Cure immediately follows the Live Auction portion of the evening. Fund A Cure is an opportunity to make an impact on the lives of people living with T1D and their loved ones through a 100% tax-deductible donation, which will accelerate life-changing research. Fund A Cure donations will be invested in JDRF’s effective and focused research agenda aimed to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives until there is a cure.
Help JDRF Fund A Cure
In the 23 years since JDRF Kansas City Chapter’s Dream Gala began, more than $20 million has been donated for research aimed to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes (T1D). It’s because of generous donors like you that today there are better treatments to help those with this disease live healthier and longer. But our work is not done – we still need a cure.
At the Dream Gala May 12, 2018, there will be a moment after the Live Auction when the room is stilled, the story of hope unfolds and Fund A Cure begins. Whether or not you are able to join us May 12, you can participate in Fund A Cure. A donation to Fund A Cure is a direct donation to fund diabetes research. One hundred percent of your donation is tax-deductible.
2018 Dream Gala Presenting Sponsor
Since its beginnings 19 years ago Retina Associates has been active in the care, treatment, and support of patients with type 1 diabetes (T1D). For the past several years it has been our pleasure, and a natural extension of our practice, to partner with JDRF to continue its effort to raise funds to find a cure for T1D. For several years we have had our physicians, associates, and families active and supportive of the Dream Gala and other events throughout the year. We are also very excited for our own, Dr. Blake Cooper, to serve as the incoming Board President in 2020.
