JDRF Ride to Cure Registration is Open!

in ,

Despite facing several challenges this past year, our Ride to Cure community has made an incredible impact for type 1 diabetes. The first case of type 1 diabetes (T1D) was reversed, a drug was identified that could delay the onset of T1D by nearly 3 years and, now with T1Detect, everyone can test their likelihood of developing T1D.

To keep this momentum going letā€™s get back on our bikes, keep fundraising and keep putting our miles towards our mission! Registration for the 2021 Ride Season is now open!

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Once itā€™s safe to do so, we plan to offer several options for those interested and comfortable participating in training rides and other in-person cycling events, in addition to an online presence through online platforms like Zwift and Peloton.
  • Throughout the season, we will offer opportunities for you to be part of the JDRF community. From inā€“person activities and training rides to pop-up challenges and cycling forums, look for an evolving calendar of events** that let you chart your own course and earn rewards for your fundraising success.
  • We know the importance of destination Ride events and we are working hard to get back to these as quickly and safely as possible. Given there are still many unknowns with the pandemic, we expect to resume JDRF-organized destination events in 2022.

No matter how you choose to ride this year, your registration supports our mission, peddling into a JDRF Ride season thatā€™s full of new opportunities. We hope you’ll join us and register at ride.jdrf.org.
