One Walk Day is Almost Here!

We are so close to the three One Walks in our chapter!

We are entering the final stretch and we couldn’t be more excited to be back in person with our incredible T1D community. The JDRF One Walk is your chance to show the world that, together, we can conquer type 1 diabetes (T1D).

There’s still time to earn your Mile of Hope Sign, Walk Day Swag, and Team Village Tent for Kansas City and St. Louis!

The deadline for Kansas City is next Wednesday, September 28.

The deadline for St. Louis is Wednesday, October 12. Please note the custom fat heads have a longer order window and their deadline is Wednesday, October 5 to ensure delivery by Walk Day.

One Walk Volunteer Opportunities:

One Walk is a fantastic event to volunteer at. Not only is it a fun and inspiring day, but it’s a great opportunity for school, corporate or social groups to earn volunteer hours. There are tons of great opportunities from greeting new families to cheering on walkers to helping with activities in the Kid’s Zone! We can’t do this without you! Sign up today:

One Walk Experiences:

Team Photos: We want to celebrate all of our walkers by snapping a photo of your team! Gather your team together & sign up for a Team Photo time to capture an awesome professional photo of your walk day crew.

Team T-Shirt Show: We want to see your creative, custom team t-shirts. Sign up today to be a part of this new experience and celebrate our One Walk community!

Food Trucks: Both Kansas City and St. Louis will have food trucks on site with food available for purchase. We are so excited to have these trucks on site. Bring your blankets and fold out chairs and enjoy a picnic on the grass while watching some of our local T1D champions show off on the stage!
