Create a Legacy

Include JDRF in your estate plans and $1,000 will be donated to support critical type 1 diabetes research around the world.

Type 1 diabetes (T1D) knows no boundaries. Affecting millions in the United States alone, T1D impacts the lives of countless more around the world. JDRF leads the scientific charge against T1D, funding research projects in more than 20 countries across the globe.

Along with our international affiliate partners, JDRF is leading a global effort to achieve our shared vision of a world without T1D. The JDRF Global Legacy Challenge gives you the opportunity to help JDRF continue to fund the most promising research in the world by including JDRF in your estate plans. Take part in the Challenge by June 30, 2019, and one of our generous sponsors will honor your commitment by donating $1,000 directly to JDRF. You’ll also be invited to join the JDRF BETA Society, our exclusive community of donors who have made a lasting commitment to T1D research by naming JDRF in their estate plans.

To be eligible, you must confirm JDRF is in your estate plans by June 30, 2019.

If you’ve already included JDRF in your estate plans, but have not yet notified us, your gift will also qualify for the JDRF Global Legacy Challenge. Please confirm your plans with by June 30, 2019.

Leave a Remarkable Legacy

Legacy gifts help ensure JDRF continues to fund promising opportunities that will produce better outcomes for people with T1D until we can prevent this deadly disease and deliver a cure. In the past two decades, JDRF has received $120 million from wills, trusts and other planned gifts to support the fight against T1D.
