Important Information / FAQs:
- What if the plate doesn’t get approved or doesn’t receive enough pre-orders? While we hope to get a JDRF plate for Tennessee, it is a lengthy process to be approved, and we must have 1,000 paid pre-orders for it to be produced. If for any reason the plate does not get approved/produced, your pre-order will not be returned to you – it will be considered a donation to JDRF.
- What will the plate look like? The plate hasn’t been designed yet – the photo above is an example as a reference, based on what other states have used for a JDRF plate. The final version may differ.
- How much does it cost? The cost of a specialty license plate in Tennessee is currently a yearly fee of $61.50, with a portion of that fee going to the nonprofit it supports.
- What do I need to do after I submit my contact information? Nothing! Once you submit your information, you are all set. We will reach out to you in the future once it is time to collect payment information for pre-orders.
