The Metro Detroit and Southeast Michigan Chapter of JDRF is anticipating a record-breaking year for our 5th Annual Fly Away Golf Dream event. Fifty-two golfers will be teeing off on Monday, June 8 at Double Eagle Golf Club just outside of Columbus, Ohio. This event is expected to raise more than $240,000 in gross revenue to benefit JDRF!

The Fly Away Golf Dream is unlike any other charity golf outing. The day includes transportation by private jet, 18 holes of sensational golf, exquisite cuisine and many surprises along the way! Derek Rapp, President and CEO of JDRF will also be attending and participating in this year’s unforgettable event.

Our Chapter would like to give a warm thank you to our Co-Chairs, Grant Beard and Marvin Daitch for their outstanding leadership and support to make the 5th Annual Fly Away Golf Dream an enormous success! We would also like to thank each and every participant and donor for their generosity in helping JDRF turn Type One into Type None!
