Children’s National Hospital and the JDRF Mid-Atlantic Chapter invite high school students and young adults with T1D and their caregivers to learn about the “teen transition years,” including going off to college and transitioning from pediatric to adult diabetes care. The event includes speakers from the Children’s National Child and Adolescent Diabetes Program and a panel of young adults with type 1 diabetes to share experiences and answer questions.
