TypeOneNation Summit – Roanoke

Join your T1D community for a morning of education and networking at our reimagined TypeOneNation Summit. This half-day program will feature keynote presentations, interactive breakout sessions and vendor exhibits. The educational program and conversations will be geared toward an adult audience. Childcare is not available. Masks are required indoors at Roanoke College. This event is free to attend and advance registration is required as space is limited.

Venue

Roanoke College

The Summit will take place in the Colket Center at Roanoke College. You can use this address for GPS directions: 255 High Street, Salem, VA 24153.

From I-81 take exit 140. Turn right off of the exit on Thompson Memorial Drive (Route 311). Drive approximately one mile and then turn right on Peery Drive. At High Street you can turn left to access the parking lot next to Olin Hall or turn right to access the parking lot across from the Cregger Athletic Center.

Once you park, head towards the back quad of the main campus (you will see a big wrought iron gate) and walk to the Colket Center, which is a brick building with a patio of umbrellas and steps leading into the building. Look for JDRF directional signage and/or volunteers to guide you.

In accordance with Roanoke College guidelines, all individuals over the age of two are required to wear masks when indoors. Masks will be required at all times, unless eating or drinking.
