2021 was a great year for Team Mountain West. In a year where we couldn’t be together in-person to celebrate, we are thrilled to announce that more than 30 riders raised more than $53,000 to benefit T1D research! Our riders each celebrated in their own way – from Todd Jacobson creating his own Ride challenge in Utah, to Laura Rosseisen riding Tour of the Moon in Grand Junction, CO, to our riders who took advantage of the Olympic Challenge over the summer – it was a truly spectacular year.

We want to take a second to recognize the incredible efforts of our top fundraisers:

1. Darrel Loyd led the pack this year raising $8,000!
2. Jeff Lowell rides for his son Jackson and in his first year ever riding raised $7,815!
3. Todd Jacobson earned the bronze in Ride fundraising this year raising $5,155!

Well done, riders!

And without further ado, we want to announce the return to in-person rides in 2022 with SIX destination rides:

• Grand Rapids, MI: June 9-12
• La Crosse, WI: August 11-14
• Saratoga Springs, NY: September 8-11
• Death Valley, CA: October 13-16
• El Tour de Tucson, Tucson, AZ: November 17-20
• Amelia Island, FL: December 1-4

Next year will also see the return of the fan favorite JDRF My Ride: Your ride, your way, your day for folks who do not want to travel to a 2022 destination ride.
