Meredith Coors

2018 Gala Chair

Meredith Coors is the mother of four busy children including Peter, age 15, who was diagnosed with T1D at age 11.  After Peter’s diagnosis, Meredith and her husband Peter became involved with JDRF and have since that time been dedicated to raising funds for research and a cure.  Meredith is actively involved in the Denver community, previously sitting on the boards for Safehouse Denver, Denver Kids, and the Denver Zoo. She is currently co-chairing the new Denver Zoo Leadership Council and joined the board of JDRF Rocky Mountain in 2017.

2018 Fund A Cure Chairs

Mindy and Jason are serving as the 2018 Fund A Cure campaign chairs for the JDRF Dream Gala in honor of their beautiful and courageous 11-year-old daughter Addison. When Addison was diagnosed at the age of 5 with type one diabetes the Buehler’s searched for an organization as committed as they were to finding a cure. Greg Dutra

Gala Emcee

Meteorologist Greg Dutra joined the KDVR/KWGN Pinpoint Weather Team in December of 2014.

Greg comes to us from KWQC in Davenport, IA where he spent 5 years as the morning meteorologist on Quad Cities Today. While in Iowa he covered every kind of weather imaginable, from an EF-4 tornado to blizzards and record flooding of the Mississippi River.

Greg is a graduate of Lyndon State College in northern Vermont where he majored in Meteorology. He acquired his Television Seal of Approval from the National Weather Association in October of 2014 and is currently pursuing his Certified Broadcast Meteorologist certification from the American Meteorological Society.

Greg is a self-described Air Force Brat and grew up in various places around the world. He was born in Spain and has lived on many bases stateside. He also spent almost two years on Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan. He calls the Adirondack Mountains of New York home, after spending time at Plattsburg Air Force Base and finishing grade school in Bolton Landing, NY.

Greg has many hobbies including sailing, golf, baseball and hockey. He is also a prolific homebrewer and makes about a dozen batches of beer per year. His favorite styles are Saison, Amber and Marzen.
