On May 9^th the JDRF Dream Gala went Beyond the Ballroom for a virtual Fund A Cure program raising more than $150,000! This inspirational evening featured videos from our T1D community, special messages to our sponsors and donors, and The Elswick family shared their moving story.

The excitement continued the following day with 50 Hours to Fund A Cure in honor of JDRF’s 50^th Anniversary. During that time, we heard from JDRF Champion, Gina Sherwood-Klein, and honored Dr. Steve Leeper, a founder of the Lincoln chapter. Watch this video honoring Dr. Leeper and hear from Jan Leeper about the early days in starting the chapter. Horizon Bank generously matched all donations during those 50 Hours!
