Research News

At the American Diabetes Associationā€™s Scientific Sessions in June, scientists presented on some of the most important topics, from beta cell replacement trials to screening to low blood sugar treatments, all with the same goal: Ending T1D. JDRF was the key funder and supporter of nearly all of the top advances shared in T1D research. Click here to learn about the key JDRF takeaways from the conference. You can also hear from JDRF CEO, Aaron Kowalski, Ph.D. in this livestream recording.

Did you know, more than 80% of clinical trials are delayed or fail because doctors cannot find enough people to take part? JDRF funds T1D clinical trials that are critical to bringing new devices and treatments to people with this disease. Currently, there are more than 55 JDRF-funded clinical trials, to both prevent and treat this disease and its complications. Learn more about the current trials and how you can help.

Resources

T1Detect, JDRFā€™s screening program, allows anyone, at any age, to get screened for T1D autoantibodies. The test is easy, simple and can help save lives. For more information and to order a test, visit jdrf.org/t1detect.
