Do you remember when your child was first diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D)? Did you have someone who reached out to you to help and offer words of encouragement? Would you like to be that guide for someone else to help them through those first difficult months after a new T1D diagnosis?

If you answered yes to these questions, the JDRF T1D Connections program is looking for you! Outreach volunteer families are important part of JDRF because they can offer their time and expertise to give back to families who are just beginning their journey and need support.

If you are interested in becoming a T1D Connections volunteer, please contact Latoschka Nether, Nevada Chapter Outreach Manager. The Nevada Chapter will provide all the training and resources necessary to become a successful JDRF Connections volunteer.
