The Nevada Chapter Volunteer of the Month program is sponsored by our community partners at Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers. Each month we highlight one of our fabulous chapter volunteers and that volunteer will receive gift cards for free meals from Raising Cane’s.

We are pleased to announce our Raising Canes Volunteer of the Month for August is Joda Gibson.

Joda is a Senior Vice President at Bank of America and a long-time supporter of JDRF and our events. Her team is always one of the first to register for the walk and commit their company sponsorship. They are proud to sponsor the Activities Area at the JDRF One Walk and provide the volunteers to assist in that area as well. (Make sure you visit her and say hi in the Activities Area on November 4th!)

Joda has been volunteering with and participating in the JDRF One Walk for so long that she is one of our experts for the event.

We are thankful that she also volunteers her time in the JDRF office to help us call all of our walk team to share information about the event and answer questions. We have extra appreciation for our corporate volunteers who not only commit their company’s resources but also volunteer their personal time for our events.
