As we head into the holiday season, the JDRF Southern Nevada Chapter wants to thank all of our supporters for their participation this year.

We had a great TypeOneNation Summit in February, bringing together diabetes experts from across the nation and families living with diabetes in Southern Nevada. This event was made possible through a local grant from the Anthem Foundation, and national sponsorship from BD, Lilly Diabetes, Dexcom, Novo Nordisk, Omnipod, and Medtronic. Save the date for this year’s event taking place on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at The Rio.

In May, at the 2017 Hope Gala honoring The Micatrotto Family, we raised a record-breaking $1.57 million dollars to support type 1 diabetes research. Read more about the event at this link.

In November we gathered together at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas to enjoy the JDRF One Walk. So far the walk has raised over $372,000 towards our goal of $586,000. Stay tuned for retail and sneaker sale campaigns this spring to help us reach our goal.
