Meet other T1D families in the Reno community to learn more about T1D, how it progresses, and why it’s so critical to detect it in its earliest stages.
Did you know that a simple blood test can identify your risk for type 1 diabetes (T1D) up to 10 years before symptoms appear?
If you have a relative with T1D, you are in a unique position to help us learn more about the disease and how to stop it. The first step is to sign up for the TrialNet Pathway to Prevention (no cost) screening to determine your personal risk of developing T1D. Finding T1D in its earliest stage gives you the opportunity to try to change the course of the disease. TrialNet offers clinical trials testing ways to slow or stop the disease at every stage.
Join JDRF and meet other T1D families in the Reno community on October 16 when Stanford University clinical research coordinator Trudy Esrey, RD, CDE, discusses what you need to know about type 1 diabetes, how it progresses, and why it’s so critical to detect it in its earliest stages. Learn about TrialNet clinical trials currently underway, and the results of trials already complete.
Hear about how your participation in TrialNet has the potential to lead to life-changing therapies, prevention, and the ultimate goal of cure. Learn about the quick and convenient ways different ways you and your family can be screened.
A future without T1D starts with you.
