Run. Drive. Sleep? Repeat. Reebok Ragnar Reach The Beach is Set for September

in

What is Ragnar Reach The Beach? 12 friends pile into 2 vans and enjoy the picturesque New England foliage in an overnight running relay from Bretton Woods to Hampton Beach, NH.  Held on September 15-16, it’s one of the oldest and longest running relay races in the United States and one you won’t want to miss. Teams begin at Bretton Woods and run, relay-style, through fields, lakes, mountain top vistas, and the occasional covered bridge. Finish along the Atlantic coastline at Hampton Beach State Park where a post-race party will be waiting for all competitors, sponsors, volunteers, family, and friends.

Community involvement is one of the cornerstones of Reach The Beach, who is proud to once again partner with JDRF to help raise funds for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. RTB came to the New England Chapter through a Board member in 2012. Since then, the partnership has raised more than $350,000 for T1D research. As in years past, JDRF is not only responsible for recruiting five teams who commit to raising $4,000 each, but we will also be recruiting 10 Transition Area Captain volunteers to assist the Reach The Beach crew at transition areas throughout the course.
