Register Your School for a JDRF Kids Walk

The JDRF Kids Walk Program is an educational, in–school fundraising program with two goals: to educate students about type 1 and type 2 diabetes and the importance of a healthy lifestyle—and to raise money for life-changing T1D research.  The program also helps to foster an environment of positive character building and community service. Students are recognized with a banner and awards. Your school can earn funds to use for equipment, field trips, books, or whatever your school needs.  It’s FUN, it’s EASY, and it’s EDUCATIONAL! And… it’s all about Kids Helping Kids!

How does the program work?
Your school can choose two dates, approximately two weeks apart, at any time during the school year to participate. On the first date—with the help of JDRF’s video and tools—your school coordinator will lead students in an educational kick–off that teaches them about type 1 and type 2 diabetes, the importance of a healthy diet and exercise, and effective fundraising strategies. On the second date, students submit the funds they’ve raised at a celebratory Walk held on your school’s campus.

YOUR students can make a difference! Register today by visiting kidswalk.jdrf.org.
