JDRF is proud to be an official Partner of John Hancock in the Marathon Non-Profit Program. The Non-Profit Program provides over 1,000 Boston Marathon® bibs to select non-profit organizations throughout the community, which provides organizations with a significant fundraising opportunity. Last year, John Hancock Non-Profit Runners raised over $13.1M for their causes.
Team JDRF is a top performing charity team of runners who are united in the common purpose of creating a world without type 1 diabetes. We offer support through every stage of your training and fundraising. This year, our goal is for each runner to exceed the $10,000 fundraising minimum. Last year, across all John Hancock charity teams participating in the Boston Marathon, runners raised an average of $13,200 each.
When you run with Team JDRF, you will receive fundraising and training support, an invitation to our pre-race dinner, transportation to the starting line and access to recovery space near the finish. Participants who have secured their own entry into the race are welcome to join our team at any time. While there is no fundraising minimum, we do have a suggested fundraising goal of $2,000.
Applications to join our team will be accepted now through Monday, November 18, 2019 at noon Eastern Time. Please visit: jdrf-ne.org/2020BostonMarathonApplication for the 2020 application.
Please reach out to Annamaria Lukes at firstname.lastname@example.org or 781-431-0700 with any questions.
Thank you for your interest in running with Team JDRF. We look forward to reviewing your application!
