Join the JDRF Youth Ambassadors in supporting JDRF! The school who raises the most funds for JDRF between November 14, 2019 through March 31, 2020 wins a free author visit from award-winning author, Rob Buyea! 

Rob Buyea is the author of The Mr. Terupt and The Perfect Score series. He taught third and fourth grade as well as high school biology before his debut novel of Because of Mr. Treupt. He lives in Massachusetts with his wife, three daughters, and two rescue dogs.

The Buyea family are longtime supporters of JDRF and Rob writes about type 1 diabetes in Saving Mr. Terupt because his daughter inspires him everyday with her strength in dealing with the disease. Learn more about Rob and his work at www.robbuyea.com

The winning school will work with Rob to schedule his visit in May or June of 2020. If needed, the visit may be used in the 2020 – 2021 school year. All eastern MA and RI schools are eligible to participate in this fundraising challenge to support the JDRF New England Chapter.
