JDRF My Ride Celebration

October 2 - 3, 2020
8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

For more than twenty years Ride Weekends have celebrated Riders’ accomplishments in supporting JDRF’s mission. Even though we’re not able to gather in person this year, we’ll come together as a community on October 2 and 3 to share our stories and recognize those who helped us go so far during such challenging times. We hope you will join this celebration.

Despite the challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic poses to our traditional 2020 JDRF Ride to Cure events, you can still be a part of the JDRF Ride community through JDRF My Ride. With no registration fee or minimum fundraising commitment, we hope to have more riders (at any level) join us than ever before! This year, the JDRF My Ride allows you to set your own goals and participate your own way: indoors on a trainer, outdoors on your bike or both. As part of JDRF My Ride, there are ongoing community, fitness and fundraising challenges where you can engage with members of the JDRF Ride community, strive to meet your fitness goals and earn rewards for your fundraising.

The evening of Friday, October 2 we’ll share a broadcast that highlights the stories behind why we ride. You’ll see and meet individuals who have not let COVID-19 dampen their commitment or enthusiasm to bring about a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D). Then, on Saturday, October 3 each of us will ride in our own way–on the street, a bike path, a trail or in our homes. That evening after we cross our own personal finish lines, we’ll gather again online to celebrate the unstoppable power of our community. We’ll share stories from the road and recognize special people who make the JDRF Ride family such a force in the fight against T1D.

Mark your calendars and look for more information as we get closer to the event. We look forward to “seeing” you soon! If you have questions about participating in the JDRF My Ride, please contact Annamaria Lukes at 781-431-0700 or alukes@jdrf.org.
