The View to a Cure: Man on a Mission” Dream Gala was hosted by the Northern New England Branch on May 2 at the Manchester Country Club in Bedford, NH. The James Bond-themed Gala raised more than $215,000 for type 1 diabetes research.  Guests experienced the James Bond lifestyle firsthand with black ties, a purple Lotus, “007” martinis (shaken, not stirred), mingling, dining, dancing and a high-stakes “Live and Let Buy” auction. Erin Fehlau, News Anchor for WMUR, was the Master of Ceremonies for the evening.

Scott Goodrich was recognized as the 2015 Dream Gala Honoree. Scott is the President of In-Building Wireless at Westell Technologies. Scott and his wife, Helle, have two sons, Colby and Casey. Their sons were diagnosed with T1D just two weeks apart.

Also honored at the Gala were Anna-Marie Sparks and Sean Kemp, co-chairs of the Concord, NH Walk. They were presented with The Judith and Walter Havenstein Sr. Cure Champion Award for initiating and coordinating this Volunteer Walk for the past 13 years.
