Meet the Board President
Aaron Gurley, General Manager for Premier Pools and Spas, was recently appointed Board President of the Northern California Inland Chapter. This will be Aaron’s third year on the JDRF Northern California Inland Chapter Board and his first as President.
Gurley first became involved with JDRF only months after his 8-month old daughter Grace was diagnosed with the disease. He was living in Phoenix Arizona and decided with the support of his wife Christy to organize a walk team, “Grace’s Gang”. Now in their eleventh year, Grace’s Gang has raised over $200,000. Aaron was recruited to join the Chapter Board in Phoenix and when his family moved to the Sacramento area, local leadership sought his involvement. As Board President, Aaron looks forward to raising funds and awareness for type one diabetes. He also wants to expand outreach programs such as Bag of Hope, to more communities throughout northern California and the Central Valley.
Aaron is excited about the year ahead and what can be achieved.
