The One Party Gala Presented by NCTS Corp. will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at the Hyatt Regency in Sacramento. Each year, we gather as a group of committed supporters to celebrate JDRF’s most exciting achievements and raise funds for future type one diabetes (T1D) research.

The black-tie optional event features a cocktail reception, mulit-course dinner, silent and live auctions, spectacular after-party and JDRF’s signature Fund A Cure program – in which 100 percent of tax-deductible contribution drive research for artificial pancreas technology, beta cell replacement therapies and other critical JDRF research priorities.

We are excited to announce that again this year JDRF Northern California will be receiving a generous Fund A Cure gift from Shingle Springs Subaru. Our Chapter has been selected as a local charity to participate in the Share the Love campaign running now through January 2, 2019 at the Shingle Springs Subaru dealership. During Share the Love, Subaru will donate $250, with Shingle Springs contributing an additional $100, for each Subaru sold or leased when the customer selects JDRF as their charity donation recipient. The total amount raised from Shingle Springs Subaru during Share the Love will be announced at the Gala. In 2018, Shingle Springs Subaru donated $58,000 from Share the Love to support Fund A Cure.

The JDRF One Party Gala is the premier gala in Sacramento, and one not to be missed.  According to Maribeth Eggleston, Gala Chair, “Everyone who comes out to support the event will bring us one step closer to turning Type One into Type None.  Whether you know someone affected by type 1 diabetes or not, your support will help give hope and relieve some of the burden of people with T1D and their families.”

Proceeds from the event will go toward research focused on curing, preventing, and treating T1D. With your help and support, we are confident we can reach our vision of a world without T1D.
