JDRF Northern California is proud to announce the Honorees for the 2019 One Party Gala, Roger and Salena Leasure.  Roger and Salena are longtime supporters of JDRF, who are being recognized for their dedication and passion to help find a cure.

The Leasure’s own NCTS Corp., a construction company specializing in tile and stone installation, which they started together in 1999. While Roger oversees the business operations, Salena handles the interior design for their real estate projects. In 2017, NCTS Corp. was named by the Sacramento Business Journal as one of Sacramento’s fastest growing companies, ranking 12^th overall. With projects completed in Asia, Italy, Bahamas, and throughout the West Coast, including local projects like the Westfield Roseville Galleria, The Arden Fair Mall, Thunder Valley Casino, and Red Hawk Casino, NCTS Corp. has become one of the top global stone installation companies.

Additionally, hey are the founders and organizers of two highly successful trail runs – the Salmon Falls 50k and Coloma River Run. Proceeds from each run directly supports JDRF and type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Annually, these two prominent trail runs raise considerable funds for JDRF.  In 2017 along, they raised over $35,000!

As parents of four children, Roger and Salena have experienced multiple T1D diagnosis in their household. Their first child, Roger Jr., was diagnosed with T1D at the age of 6 (now 17) and their third child, Olivia, was diagnosed at the age of 12 (now 14). Roger and Salena want to find a cure for T1D in their lifetime and will stop at nothing until there is one.
