We invite you to join us for the 2020 One Party Gala on Saturday, May 9^th at the Sheraton Grand in downtown Sacramento!  The annual One Party Gala is a high-profile event offering an evening of networking, entertainment, gourmet food and fun.  It’s also a night when we recognize those making critical contributions to create a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D).

We are honored this year to have Maribeth Eggleston and Lisa Stanton serving as event Co-Chairs. Maribeth has provided leadership over the past four years and helped the Gala grow in both attendance and dollars raised.  Lisa, who recently joined the Board of Directors, brings her passion and energy to help find a cure for her granddaughter who was diagnosed with T1D at 3-years old. As both a mother and a grandmother to a loved one living with T1D, they also look forward to celebrating and recognizing all of the mother’s, grandmother’s and caregivers of T1D’s as we celebrate Mother’s Day weekend.

In addition, we are excited to welcome Gabe and Sarah Tierney as our 2020 Fund A Cure Co-Chairs.  Their son Finn was diagnosed with T1D in 2007 and then 10 years later, their daughter Rowan.  As a demonstration of their commitment towards creating a world without T1D, they organized a Wiffle Ball tournament that has raised over $120,000 since the events inception 12 years ago!  Family, friends and neighbors all come together on the Saturday of Father’s Day weekend for a day of games, fun and entertainment!

Last year, over 350 guests attended the One Party Gala and helped raise a record –breaking $430,000! With your help and support, we look forward to another successful year!
