Jamie Kurtzig was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) at the age of 19 months. Now 15, she has been writing about her experiences in a blog series since 2017, first as “Diary of an Artificial Pancreas” and most recently under the title “Looping with Jamie”. Her family will be living in the Ukraine and India over the next year and will be JDRF Global Advocates during this time. Jamie will continue to write her blog from abroad.
