As we all adjust to our rapidly changing world and the impact of coronavirus to our communities, we wanted to reach out and let you know that our primary goal remains the same during this challenging time: supporting our T1D community and continuing every effort to end T1D.

One Party Gala May 9th – Postponed

JDRF has taken the precautionary measure of postponing all in-person gatherings until June 30, 2020.Ā  Therefore, our JDRF One Party Gala scheduled for May 9, 2020 is now postponed. Our aim is to ensure for the safety and well-being of our supporters. Once the coronavirus has subsided, we will look to identify a new date.

 

Staying Connected

Now, more than ever, is a great time to join one of our online T1D Facebook groups! These virtual communities allow you to connect with other T1Dā€™s and T1D caregivers.Ā  We also look forward to the addition of special guests speaking on topics that range from T1D research advancements to the psychosocial aspects of living with T1D (especially when sheltering in place!). JDRF NorCal CommuniT1D: T1D Family Group- Connect with other families who are living with Type 1 Diabetes. This group is open to parents, grandparents, caregivers and children living with T1D. CommuniT1D virtual meet-ups will be held on the following Tuesdays: April 9, May 14 and June 11. Please join the online group for more information: https://www.facebook.com/groups/CommuniT1D

JDRF NorCal Type One Connect: Connect with other adults who are living with Type 1 Diabetes during our online happy hour! This group is open to people 21+. Friends, spouses or significant others; anyone who is your greatest supporter is also welcome to join! Virtual Type One Connect meet-ups will be held bimonthly on the third Thursday of the month: April 16 and June 18.
