Staying Connected to our T1D Community

in

Now, more than ever, we are working on ways to keep our T1D community connected while adhering to guidance from state and local health officials and maintaining physical distances.

JDRF Virtual Resources

First, we’re bringing experts from across the country to you through a series of virtual educational events. Join us to hear from leading experts in the field of type 1 diabetes to help you and your loved ones live well. You’ll have an opportunity to engage with other families and individuals living with T1D while expanding your knowledge on topics important to you – all from the comfort of your own home. To view upcoming topics, presenters and times, please visit JDRF’s Virtual Connections page and discover additional online resources available to you!

Local Meet Up Groups

Second, our meet up groups have gone virtual as well! We hope that families with T1D children between the ages of 4 and 12 will join us next Tuesday, July 14 from 5:30-6:00PM for our JDRF Northern California CommuniT1D Zoom call! This is a great time for kids to hop on, along with their parents, and see, wave and check-in with other T1D kids just like them! Since the connection is virtual, you can connect from anywhere in California!  We hope you will join us at https://jdrf.zoom.us/j/99378861236
