Creators for Cures | May 22-28

This spring, JDRF Game2Give is celebrating our community of creators with the inaugural Creators for Cures event. From May 21–28, we’ll put our creativity on display to raise $10K to find CURES for type 1 diabetes.

Each of the eight days of creative fundraising will focus on a specific activity, from speedrunning to tabletop games, from artists to makers, and more! Check out the full event schedule.

Visit the Tiltify event page to register a campaign. While the majority of the event activities will occur during these eight days, you can host a charity stream anytime until June 30 to help us meet our fundraising goal.

Speedrunning means playing a game as fast as possible. You’ll be amazed at what these speedy streamers can do!

Monday, May 22 — T1D in Games

People with T1D make games. There are even characters with T1D in games! Today we’re playing games that have links to T1D.

1 PM – 2:30 PM: Josh Fairhurst of Limited Run Games chatting about life with T1D and playing his game, Saturday Morning RPG Will be rescheduled for another time!

4 PM – 8 PM: Saverino indie games or Minecraft with a T1D mod

Roll for initiative! Today we celebrate video games’ analog cousins, tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPGs).
