More Info

Join us on Monday, January 30 @ 12:30pm as we welcome back our guest speaker Mike Joyce, who has an amazing story to share and is always such an inspiration!  Mike has had diabetes for 27 years. Over the last 5 years Mike has backpacked close to 10,000 miles. He finds diabetes as a reason to chase adventure, not shy away from it.  In 2019 Mike began the Journey of Completing the Triple Crown of backpacking. After completing the Appalachian Trail (~2,200 miles) in 2019, he went on to hike the Pacific Northwest Trail (1,200 miles) in 2020 and the Continental Divide Trail (3,100 miles) in 2021. His recent completion of the Pacific Crest Trail in 2022 (2,650 miles) finished the Triple Crown.
