Become a Youth Advocacy Leader Today!

YAL

The JDRF Youth Advocacy Leadership Programs outlines 10 activities, asking participants to complete 8 of the activities. This is an opportunity for kids/teens to become a part of an immensely talented team that achieves so many critical successes in advocacy to advance JDRF’s legislative and research agenda. Upon completion, these superstars will be named a Youth Advocacy Leader (YAL)!

If your child intends to apply for Children’s Congress, becoming a Youth Advocacy Leader will strengthen their application. This will also prepare them for future T1D advocacy experiences, such as meeting with Members of Congress during in-District Promise or New Member meetings.
