Coffee & Conversation support groups will take place once a month in coffee shops in each borough of New York City. The support groups will act as a meet-up for people living with type 1 diabetes (T1D), and will provide a space for those newly diagnosed and those who have been living with this condition for years to exchange experiences and provide support. We understand that families affected by T1D can benefit from encouragement of others and can also provide encouragement to others via simple, informal conversation. The aim of the “Coffee & Conversation” support groups hope to do just that. Come out and make a connection, meet new friends and gain a network of support!
