Team Spotlight: Jack’s Sugar Shakers- Congrats to this new team for raising $1,700! Jack is an energetic, fun loving, 6 year old. He loves playing baseball, watching football, and riding his bike. On Memorial Day 2014, after a fun family filled weekend, Jack was diagnosed with T1D. The initial shock sparked a lot of intrigue amongst his family. Their search for answers led them to JDRF. Instead of dwelling on the Why?, they chose to stay positive and focus on How?. How can we help? How can we make life better? How can we find a cure? Jack’s contagious smile and positive outlook on life has helped encourage his family and friends to actively support T1D research.
