JDRF Greater Northwest is pleased to announce that Rachel Leftwich has joined our team! Rachel is a Senior Development Coordinator and her role will include working on Gingerbread Village and South Sound One Walk. Let’s take a minute to get to know Rachel in her own words:

Hi, everyone! I grew up near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and received my Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Chatham University. I have an extensive background in event management and fundraising and I’m looking forward to applying my skills to this new role. Outside of work, I coach high school cross country running. I’m passionate about endurance sports, and I’ve completed 5 marathons, 2 full Ironman triathlons, and numerous shorter road and cross country races. Oh, and I eat at least one burrito every single day. I’m really excited to join the team at JDRF Greater Northwest!
