Share your T1D experiences with a charity livestream in November

in ,

JDRF’s video game initiative, JDRF Game2Give, will hold a month-long livestream fundraiser in November for National Diabetes Awareness Month (NDAM). If you stream on platforms like Twitch or YouTube, this is your chance to share how type 1 diabetes impacts your life and raise money for T1D research at the same time!

If you’re new to livestream fundraising, check out this video from a previous event to see how much fun it can be:

Streamers participating in the NDAM fundraiser will collect donations with Tiltify, which integrates well with livestream platforms. Set up a campaign or make a donation on the Tiltify event page to help us reach our $25,000 goal. We also offer streaming resources and assets to help make your charity stream a success.

Our big fundraising weekend will be November 12ā€“14, but this fundraiser will be open all month, so you can do a charity stream whenever in November is convenient for you. Make sure to let us know your plans by posting on the JDRF Game2Give Discord, tagging us on Twitter, or dropping us an email. If we know in advance when you’ll be streaming, we can help promote your stream on social media. We’ll also try to drop in and say hi!

Support Your Local Chapter

New for this event, you can now support your local JDRF chapter or affiliate with your Tiltify campaign. Just select your state or country when you register and the money you raise will be credited appropriately.

October 27: Live Info Session on Twitch

Join us to hear more about the November event, get some tips for charity streaming, and learn how to use Crowd Controlā€”a fun extension that lets your viewers mess with your progress in the game you’re streaming, in exchange for donations.
