Join us IN PERSON on May 14th, 2022 at Crystal Lake Sports Park to walk for a world without Type One Diabetes (T1D). Enjoy vendors, activities for kids and adults (tie dye), snacks and a coffee truck.

This year we are dedicating the Corvallis Walk for T1D in memory of Mickey Millsap.  Mickey was diagnosed with T1D when he was 11 years old in his hometown of San Diego, CA. On August 13, 2020 and at the age of 21, Mickey passed away at his Corvallis residence due to complications with T1D. Mickey was entering his fourth year of studies at Oregon State pursuing a double major degree in history and education.

Mickey was a very proud member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity and his Delt brothers were his extended family. As an Eagle Scout, Mickey was an experienced camper and enjoyed taking hikes and exploring new places in Oregon with his Delt brothers. Mary’s Peak was one of his favorite spots and was considered his sanctuary.

We will continue to work hard for JDRF to fundraise and find a cure.
