JDRF is sad to learn that Gladys Hertzfeld has passed away. Gladys and her husband Murph were one of JDRF’s founding families. Gladys was deeply involved with JDRF for more than 30 years and her husband was the first chairman of the JDRF International Board of Directors. JDRF only exists because of people like Gladys, and we will honor her legacy by continuing to fight for a world without type 1 diabetes.
